Internet Technology-based Remote GHP Monitoring System (“Sky Remote” / “Eneflex”)
Overview
A “Sky Remote” adapter mounted on a gas heat pump (GHP) or “Genelight” (microcogeneration system) is connected wirelessly to the Osaka Gas monitoring server, and the customer (owner) and Osaka Gas are connected via the Internet. Since wireless communication is established, the remote monitoring system can be introduced simply by installing the Sky Remote adapter, requiring no personnel for management. The system makes energy consumption visible so as to be helpful for customers (owners) in promoting energy saving, reducing CO2 emissions, and cost saving, as well as ensures a sense of security by means of remote management. We are also vigorously working on the development of functions to further save energy and prevent stoppages caused by failure.
Features
- Wireless communication makes installation easy.
- The system can be operated from any location provided with access to the Internet.
- The operating status of equipment can be made visible via the Internet.
- Efficient operation made possible by remote management reduces wasteful energy costs and extends the service life of the system
- In the unlikely event of a problem, the remote monitoring system quickly sends information to the Osaka Gas service center, enabling rapid response and recovery.
Service Description
Maintenance
1. Reduction of life cycle costs for each device
Appropriate maintenance on a device-by-device basis mitigates deterioration of the equipment.
2. Prompt response in the event of a problem*
Error codes and other failure information are promptly transmitted to ensure early recognition of failure condition and shortening of equipment downtime.
* Dispatch services are available during business hours.
Operation
- 1.Multiple stores managed collectively on the screen
The operating condition of each device in multiple stores can be checked on a single screen from a remote location. - 2.Schedule booking by the owner (customer)Operating time and temperature management eliminates wasteful daily air conditioning operation.
Patrol function (“Eneflex Premium” at cost)
To manage set temperatures and avoid inadvertently omitting turning off the equipment, the patrol function periodically patrols the indoor units of the customer (owner). Upon detecting an indoor unit that does not match the settings, the patrol function will automatically change the settings.
Energy-saving effect of the patrol function (track record)
* This function is not available with some models from some manufacturers.
Automatic energy-saving function (“Eneflex Premium” at cost)
The automatic energy-saving function selects energy-saving operation mode in response to the room temperature according to the settings made by the customer (owner).
* This function is not available with some models from some manufacturers.
